TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF COLECOT ROAD, LUSK, CO. DUBLIN

 

 

An application has been received from Glas Civil Engineering Ltd. for permission to temporarily close Colecot Road, Lusk, Co. Dublin (L-1145-0), to facilitate Bridge Deck replacement. These works are being carried out on behalf of Fingal County Council. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 6.00am on Monday 9th September 2019 until 6.00pm on Friday 13th September 2019.

 

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:-

 

Motorists travelling on the R129 and wishing to access Colecot Road, should continue on the R129 until the junction with the R132. At this junction turn left and continue on the R132 for 5.5km. At the crossroads turn left onto the local road at Ballough. Continue on the local road for 1km and at the junction turn left for Colecot Road.

 

Motorists travelling on the local road and wishing to access the Colecot Road  should continue on the local road at Ballough until the junction with the R132. At this junction turn right and continue on the R132 until the junction with the R129. At this junction turn right on the R129. Continue on the R129 for 2km and at the junction turn right for Colecot Road

 

Local access for residents and Emergency Services will be maintained at all times.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through this Portal, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 16th August 2019.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
