TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BROOK LANE, RUSH, CO DUBLIN

 

 

An application has been received from GMC Utilities Limited for permission to temporarily close Brook Lane, Rush, Co Dublin, to facilitate water and sewer upgrades for a new housing development along Brook Lane.  It is proposed that sections of the road will be closed 24 hours from 11th October until 1st November 2021, the permitted working hours shall be between 18.00 and 08:00 Monday-Friday.  No works permitted on Saturday and Sunday nights.

 

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows: -

 

Diversion routes: -

 

Phase 1                    Hayestown Road/Brook Lane                                                                 11th October – 18th October

 

Traffic travelling from Hayestown Rd/ Brook Lane heading west towards dead end; full closure will be in place. Local access will be maintained during the works at this section.

 

 

Phase 2                   Hayestown Road/Brook Lane to Sea Brook                          19th October - 25th October

 

Traffic travelling from Hayestown Rd / Brook Lane junction to Sea Brook Estate; diversion will be left onto Old Road, left onto Whitestown Rd, left onto Park Road & left again onto Brook Lane.

 

 

Phase 3                   Sea Brook – Brookford Estate                                    26th October – 1st November

 

Traffic travelling from Sea Brook estate to Brookford Estate; diversion will be on Hayestown Rd, left onto Old Road, left onto Whitestown Rd, left onto Park Road & left again onto Brook Lane.

 

 

Local access will be maintained at all times.

 

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan,Rush-Lusk, Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00pm on Friday 24th September 2021.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

 

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
