ROADS ACT 1993 TO 2015 SECTION 75 

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A ROAD IN RUSH, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from the ESB for permission to temporarily close a road in the Rush area to facilitate the laying of ducting and cabling to a new residential dwelling. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 9.30am to 5.00pm Thursday 31st May and Friday 1st June 2018.

The road in question is:

• Bawn Road.

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:

For people wishing to access Bawn Road east of the closure:
• All vehicular traffic wishing to access Bawn Road east of the closure will be diverted north on Bawn Road. Traffic will then take a right turn onto Lower Main Street, then right onto Old Barrack Road.

For people wishing to access Bawn Road west of the closure:
• All vehicular traffic wishing to access Bawn Road west of the closure will be diverted north on Old Barracks Road. Traffic will then take a left turn onto Lower Main Street, then left onto Bawn Road.

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 4th May 2018.
