TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ASHGROVE ROAD, GARRISTOWN, CO DUBLIN
An application has been received from Murphy International, for permission to temporarily close Baldrumman Road, Lusk, Co. Dublin, to facilitate a transmission gas pipeline construction. It is proposed the road will be closed from Monday 31st August 2020 until Monday 28th September 2020.
Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:
Directions from the East
Turn Left from Baldrumman Road onto the Colecut Road.
Travel along the Colecut Road (R129) for 3km to T junction
Turn right @ T Junction on to R129
Travel along R129 for 1km and take 1st right.
Travel approx. 4.5km to T junction
Turn left to re-join Baldrumman Road
Directions from the West
Turn right from Baldrumman Road
Travel approx. 4.5km to crossroads
Take a left at the cross roads onto R129
Travel along R129 for approx. 1km
Take 1st left onto Colecut Road R129
Travel approx. 3km to T Junction
Turn right onto at T Junction to re-join Baldrumman Road
Badrumman Road is a 2 lane road that crosses over the M1 Motorway linking the R132 to The R108. During the works the road will be closed. Local Access will be facilitated where possible and extensive diversion and information signage will be in place.
Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.
Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm Friday 14th August 2020.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
