TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STATION ROAD, LUSK, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from McGarrell Reilly Homesfor permission to temporarily close Station Road (from the junction with the roundabout of the R127 to the junction with the Dublin Road), Lusk, Co. Dublin. This is to facilitate foul sewer and surface water outfall connections. It is proposed that the road will be closed each night from 7.00pm to 7.00am the following morning, Monday 1st April 2019 to Friday 5th April 2019.

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:
• Motorists travelling north along the R127 from Blake’s Cross and wishing to access Lusk Village should continue north on the R127 until the Dublin Road roundabout and take the 1st exit on the roundabout.
• Motorists travelling south along the R127 from Skerries and wishing to access Lusk Village should continue south on the R127 until the Skerries Road roundabout and take the 2nd exit on the roundabout.
• Motorists travelling along the R128 and wishing to access Lusk Village should continue south on the R127 until the Dublin Road roundabout taking the 2nd exit on the roundabout or continue north on the R127 until Skerries Road roundabout taking the 1st exit on the roundabout.
• Motorists in Lusk Village wishing to access Rush, the train station or the Raheny area may do so via the Skerries Road roundabout and head south on the R127 Rathmore Road or via the Dublin Road roundabout and head north on the R127 Rathmore Road.

Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown,
Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 8th March 2019.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
