TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A SECTION OF ORCHARD ROAD AT KEOGH’S CROSS, OLDTOWN, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from Larry Kiernan Plant Hire Ltd., for permission to temporarily close a section of Orchard Road at Keogh’s Cross, Oldtown, Co. Dublin, to facilitate a sewer connection. It is proposed that the road will be closed from 7am to 7pm on Monday 15th April 2019 and Tuesday 16th April 2019.

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:-
• Motorists travelling on the R129 from Ballyboughal and wishing to access the Orchard Road / Oldtown should continue on the R129 until the junction with the R122. At this junction turn left and continue on the R122 into Oldtown Village until the junction with the Orchard Road on the left.
• Motorists travelling on the R122 and wishing to access the R129 should continue on the R122 through Oldtown Village until the junction with the R129, at this junction turn right. Access to the Orchard Estate will be via the R122, there will be no access via the R129.

Local access for residents will be maintained at all times.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 22nd March 2019.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
