Proposed Temporary Closure of drumnigh road – r124

An application has been received from BSG Civil Engineering Ltd on behalf of Irish Water for permission to temporarily close Drumnigh Road – R124 between Chapel Rd and Moyne Road Junction. The road will be closed in two separate sections with vehicular access to Station road junction/Drumnigh Road available over stated period.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate the installation of a sewage pumping main.  

It is proposed that the road section will be closed from 08.00 on Monday, 26th October 2020 until 18.00 on Tuesday, 17th November 2020.

The alternative route for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure is as follows:

Note: Vehicles approaching the Drumnigh Road/Station Road Junction from Station Road will be directed North or South Bound.

Local access will be provided over the period of the proposed closure.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 Monday, 28th September 2020.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
