TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BALHEARY AVENUE, SWORDS, CO. DUBLIN

An application has been received from Glowtime Productions DAC for permission to temporarily close Balheary Avenue (between Balheary Golf Club and Balheary Church), Swords, Co. Dublin. The closure will be to facilitate a filming request. It is proposed that the roads will be closed from 6.00am to 8.00pm on Monday 24th June 2019.

 

Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:-

Motorists travelling on the R108 and wishing to access the Balheary Avenue should continue on the R108 to Ballyboughal until the junction with the R129. At this junction turn right and continue on the R129 for 2.2 km at crossroads turn right into Harlockstown Lane / Balheary Road.

Motorists travelling on the Balheary Road from Swords and wishing to access the Balheary Avenue should continue on the Balheary Road / Harlockstown Lane until the junction with the R129. At this junction turn left and continue on the R129 into Ballyboughal until the junction with the R108, at this junction turn left on the R108.

Local access for residents and Emergency Services will be maintained at all times.

 

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Balbriggan Swords Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 4.00pm on Friday 31st May 2019. All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
