 Proposed Traffic Calming Measures - Dublin 15 Area

Fingal County Council in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 and Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009 hereby gives notice that it has prepared a Scheme for the provision of traffic calming measures at the following locations:

 

  • Roselawn Road, Coolmine, Dublin 15 – 4 No. Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Castleknock Park, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Pinebrook Vale, Huntstown, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • St Mochta’s Link Road, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 – 3 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Allendale Drive, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Luttrellstown Way, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – 2 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Whitestown Avenue, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 – 1 No. of Traffic Calming Ramp.
  • Clonsilla Road, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 – 1 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Station Road, Ongar, Dublin 15 – 4 No. Traffic Calming Ramps.
  • Hollywoodrath Road, Hollystown, Co. Dublin - 6 No. of Traffic Calming Ramps.

 

The schemes include the provision of traffic calming ramps, appropriate road signage and markings where necessary.

 

Plans and particulars of the Schemes as shown on Drawing Numbers 2019-PD-TC-001 to 2019-PD-TC-009 and 2019-PD-TC-017, are available for inspection from Friday the 5th of April 2019 as follows:-

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Traffic Calming Scheme will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Traffic Calming Scheme in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
