PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF R122 ST MARGARETS ROAD
An application has been received by Coras Pipeline Services to temporarily close section of the R122 St Margarets Road from Thursday 13th August 2026 to Friday 14th August 2026 from 7am to 7pm.
Fingal County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to temporarily close the following roads section of the R122 St Margarets Road at the following times on Thursday 13th August 2026 to Friday 14th August 2026 from 7am to 7pm.
Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:
Traffic travelling SouthWest along the L3132 (Millhead Road) towards St. Margaret's (R122) shall be diverted along the following route:
At the junction of the L3132 and the R122, Traffic will be diverted .
Traffic will then be diverted onto the L3127 .
Continue north along the local road through St. Margaret's village
End Detour.
Traffic travelling South along the R122 towards the L3132 (Millhead Road) shall be diverted along the following route:
Traffic travelling South on the local road through St. Margarets Village will have to continue past the junction adjacent to St. Margaret's Cemetery.
At the L3127 junction turn left .
End Detour.
Local and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.
Details and maps (showing diversions) will be available through the Consultation Portal at https://consult.fingal.ie.Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart/Castleknock/Ongar Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 5pm on Monday 20th July 2026.
All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
