PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF R102 RIVER ROAD
An application has been received by Breedon Surfacing Solutions Ireland to temporarily close R102 River Road from Monday,14thSeptember 2026 to Sunday, 4th of October 2026 from 7.00pm to 6:00am throughout the duration of the works.
Fingal County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to temporarily close R102 River Road from Monday, 14thSeptember 2026 to Sunday,4th of October 2026 from
7.00pm to 6:00am throughout the duration of works.
Alternative routes available for vehicular traffic are as follows:
From Closure Point A
Head Southeast towards Navan Road (R147). Turn left and head East along Navan Road (R147). Continue East along Navan Road (R147) for approximately 2km to junction/roundabout with Ashtown Road. Take the 1st exit and head North along Ashtown Road. Continue North along Ashtown Road for approximately 700m to junction/roundabout with the R102. Take the 1st exit towards the R102 and continue to the Detour End.
From Closure Point B
Head South towards Ashtown Road. Take the 2nd exit and head South along Ashtown Road. Continue South along Ashtown Road for approximately 700m to junction/roundabout with Navan Road (R147). Take the 3rd exit and head West along Navan Road (R147). Continue West to junction/roundabout with the R102. Turn right and head North along the R102. Continue North to the Detour End.
Local and emergency access will be maintained at all times.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, which are submitted to the Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.
Accordingly the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.
The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
