PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF DRUMNIGH ROAD/R124, MALAHIDE, CO. DUBLIN.

An application has been made by Fingal County Council Operation’s Department for the temporary road closure of the Drumnigh Road / R124, Malahide, Co. Dublin, from The Hill as far as Seamount Road (Northern side).

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate road resurfacing works.

The period of the proposed temporary closure will be daily from 19.00 Monday, 11th July 2022 to 06.00 Sunday, 24th July 2022. Outside these hours the road will be fully open.

The alternative routes for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure are as follows:

Local access only will be provided for pedestrians and cyclists along length of closure.

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 on Monday, 20th June 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
