ROADS ACT 1993 TO 2015 – SECTION 75

PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF BATH AVENUE, MALAHIDE, CO. DUBLIN.

An application has been received from the Water Services Department, Fingal Co. Council for permission to temporarily close Bath Avenue, Malahide, Co. Dublin. The proposed road closure is from Bath Avenue - Coast Road (R106) junction to the Grand Hotel Car park entrance.   

The purpose of this road closure is to facilitate road drainage works.

It is proposed that the road will be closed from 09.00 on Monday, 5th December 2022 to 18.00 on Friday, 9th December 2022.

The alternative routes for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure are as follows:

Bath Avenue is One-Way with access to Grove Road available from its junction with the Coast Road.  Access/Egress to the Grand Hotel Car park will remain as normal. 

Local access will be provided for residents and pedestrians along the length of the closure.  

Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than Monday, 14th November 2022.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the

Council regarding this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council.

 Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting.
