PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF BACK ROAD, MALAHIDE, CO, DUBLIN, FROM THE RAILWAY BRIDGE TO JUNCTION WITH THE R124 – DRUMNIGH ROAD,
An application is being made on behalf of Fingal County Council's Operations Department for permission to temporarily close Back Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin.
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate Road Maintenance Works.
It is proposed to close Back Road from the Railway Bridge to the junction with the R124 – Drumnigh from 08.00 to 18.00 on Monday, 4th October 2021 to Friday, 15th October 2021.
The alternative routes for traffic travelling in the area during the proposed closure are as follows:

Local access will be provided over the period of the proposed closure and access open to the Demesne Car Park from the R107 Malahide Road/Back Road Junction only.
Any person may lodge an objection online through the Consultation Portal, at https://consult.fingal.ie, or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Howth Malahide Operational Area, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, to arrive no later than 16.00 Monday, 13th September 2021.

All comments, including the names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this Temporary Road Closure will form part of the statutory report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Fingal County Council. Accordingly, the statutory report will list the persons or bodies who made submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Temporary Road Closure in accordance with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act 1994. The submissions will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and consequently will appear on the Council’s Website. By making a submission the name of individual or bodies will appear on the statutory report and minutes of the meeting
