Holywell Pumping Station Relocation

I have reviewed the information circulated to me in relation to this proposal. I note that this proposal is intended to ensure that the pumping station serving the overall Holywell development meets best-practice standards including the provision of 24 hour emergency storage in the event of pump failure. I note also that flows of sewerage and/or surface water from the new Pumping Station, which do not represent an increase on existing flows, will be pumped to the Swords waste-water treatment plant which has sufficient capacity to treat same and is therefore operating within capacity and meeting its licencing requirements in relation to discharges from the plant to the Malahide Estuary SAC and SPA.

I am of the view therefore that there will be no adverse impact, either alone or in combination with other plans and projects, to European sites.
